Apple with bites out of it

Apple

Arbor of cherry blossoms

A tiny nip to snap through skin.
A wider bite draws pale flesh in and rolls it expertly over the tongue.
Molar work seeks tart and sweet, drives flesh and juice to tumultuous release.
Swallow and savor the journey to core.
Thus settled, it satisfies, but really, you want more.
This, too, is love.
