“Well now , that’s two of us loose in the wind,” growled Elinorth, gnawing her lower lip and fretting at her longest and most favorite chin hair.
“Both Frenlodth and Rockmouse gone missing with no check-ins means we need our best and oldest tracker,” and glaring at the gathering of gnomes rather than show her tears, added “Any volunteers?”
“I thought those two were our best trackers” ventured one, scratching his head under the edge of his burgundy-colored cap. “Who were you thinking of, then?”
Elinorth hurled an acorn in answer, fully knocking his cap from his head, shouting, “I’m the best and the oldest, and you Redrue, just volunteered!”
Noticing movement near the back of the Brotherhood, she clocked the gnome with the amber-fox eyes and called out sharply, “And you, Sangfroid, I’ll take you, and also you Plangeduc because we’ll need your stories to help us think!”

I simply hope they aren’t walking into a trap. The way they talk to one another is a hoot.

I like how they’ll need Plangeduc’s stories to help them think.

Love the way this is moving on, especially the one, Planngedue, who seems to have several stories to use!
