Tree prints on dark’ning sky
Dusk comes, a soft quilt
Sweet wine melts the bones
Blessings poured to potter’s cup
The soft stroke of night
The neighborhood stills
As night draws down I sigh
And dream in the dark.

“Sweet wine melts the bones,” and I sigh into the comforting passage of haiku.

I never got the hang of Tweets, so this songbird flew. Let me think on the Saddle Up…😳

I especially like the tree branches as prints of haiku characters.
