  1. I understand the struggle of feeling creatively stifled and emotionally drained phase!

Loved the great use of some imagery, like ‘go to ground’, ‘lose the shoes’, ‘step out into the rain’ – evoking a need for raw, unfiltered reconnection with oneself and nature. Loved this and specifically in the last lines, ‘But may be just don’t, please?’ – suggesting the need for personal space and introspection to recharge and regain creative energy!

    Amazing piece, dear Poet …
Loved reading it and feel it in the core …

    Best wishes

  2. I don’t go to ground
    Just around and around
It’s a cycle, and as such never ends
    In my circular motion
    I haven’t a notion
Of a home, nor a circle of friends
When my feet hit the dirt
Scrape my toes through the hurt
And I don’t get to say my goodbyes
    I know my last word
    Will never be heard
No one hears I’ve got tears in my eyes

Um …. I just thought your words deserved some sort of sympathetic response

    • Thanks Richmond! Really am ok. Just need to stop, drop down in the grass, and watch the river run & maybe mask all that chatter around and in my head.
      Stay well, Poet!
