The challenge? Write a story in 6 sentences, no more & no less, and if you’d like, share your own creation or just visit and comment on others’ ideas, with GirlieOnTheEdge, Denise. The prompt is “ABSTRACT”, and here’s where you join the party: Six Sentence stories
The more he tried to explain, the longer and less clear the situation became.
“Tommy,” she gasped as she held up her hands in protest and the words cascaded, filled the small kitchen with its red and white country chintz curtains, pressed against each other until they burst through the flimsy wooden door, and flowed into the back yard, undulating in rapidly rising white-capped waves. “Please, just take a breath and slow down!”
“Well it’s like this,” he poured forth again, and out in the fields beyond the tire swing, the tall, ripening stalks of sweet corn trembled in fear of flood.
“Just give me the abstract, buddy,” she shrieked, grasping his shoulders and shaking him until his teeth rattled – anything to get him to shut up so they could solve what was clearly a crisis for the easily excitable young man.
“I ate the last Oreo, and now there’s nothing left for snack,” he sobbed as he dropped to the cracked linoleum in a helpless, sorrowful heap.

I’m with the others on Sentence two, what imagery!
Surely I’m not the only one to think (and therefore write), the only thing more fun that than ‘witnessing’ a crazy-fun scene like that is writing a scene like that (and enjoying the enjoyment of Readers).
