The challenge? Write a story in 6 sentences, no more & no less, and if you’d like, share your own creation or just visit and comment on others’ ideas, with GirlieOnTheEdge, Denise. The prompt is “BOX”, and here’s where you join the party: Six Sentence Stories
“I’ll take two of those, three of the ones with the blood red edges, a couple of Tiger’s Paws, four of the Unembellished Monkey Heads, and the big, pillowy one with the kitty toe beans sprinkled over the top –- what do you call it, again?”
“That makes an even dozen, but I bet you’ll want to eat the Tuesday Toe Bean Special right away. We’ll make it a baker’s dozen and I’ll throw in a Honey-glazed Squashed Bee Tart.”
“Box ‘em up!” George leaned over the counter of the Monsterville Sweet Shoppe, grasping the Toe Bean treat in his curved claws, his single eye blinking rapidly between red, green, yellow, before settling on midnight black and total focus.
“Your wife, Gorgonetta, will be so pleased with the Bee Tart that she’ll never know you cheated on your diet, and I’ll never tell!” murmured Sweet Sue, who knew quite well how to build a loyal customer base.

Is it wrong if I say this is a “sweet” story?

Gorgonetta is a wonderful name for George’s wife. The “Honey-glazed Squashed Bee Tart” sounds delicious.

Frank! You’re a monster, aren’t you?
Or maybe just a mad scientist (Frankenstein)?

Gorgonetta. Could there be a more clever name or witty tale?!
The only one that comes to mind is the incredibly hysterical name bestowed on Tracey Ullman’s character of the witch in Mel Brook’s genius “Robin Hood: Men in Tights”. Her name was “Latrine”.
Yeah, I hear you laughing!

I’d forgotten that fun movie! Who else but Tracey Ullman could bring that name to full comedic genius!?
Have you seen her Angela Merkel eyerolling skit? Hilarious!
