He’d become withdrawn since the incident, built a wall, not too fierce, not too tall, but imposing enough to keep most others out. And with Leon the Chameleon guarding the door, he was able to continue life as he now knew it.

It’s an inside job for sure.

I gaze out at the fat, fresh snow falling, fairy voices singing with bell-like giggles as winds gust and tumble them into one another. Not yet time for Spring cleaning. It’s only February.
