I’ll Be Ok

Feeling both drained and blocked
Creative flow not happening   
Just need to scrape a few key people off
Step out into the rain
Lose the shoes
And go to ground for awhile
Recharge.                                                

I’d say come join me
But maybe just don’t.
Please?

    Just around and around
    It’s a cycle, and as such never ends
    In my circular motion
    I haven’t a notion
    Of a home, nor a circle of friends
    When my feet hit the dirt
    Scrape my toes through the hurt
    And I don’t get to say my goodbyes
    I know my last word
    Will never be heard
    No one hears I’ve got tears in my eyes

    Um …. I just thought your words deserved some sort of sympathetic response

    • Thanks Richmond! Really am ok. Just need to stop, drop down in the grass, and watch the river run & maybe mask all that chatter around and in my head.
