Love Grows

Arbor of cherry blossomsA spring wind puffed and released tiny skydivers of cherry blossom every time she walked by. She couldn’t have helped it, even if she’d wanted to, which she really didn’t want to be able to do. Those sweet blossoms spread joy and peace to all who walked under its showers or over its flowers.

Better yet, the effervescent blessing of that spring shower passed automatically on to anyone within five miles of those so affected. She was grateful the season was short; it was exhausting, being the origin of so much good.

At least she got her Steps in!

  1. Love your Six, Liz!
The first 3 sentences are perfect, especially “A spring wind puffed and released tiny skydivers of cherry blossom”. I’ve no difficulty visualizing. Living in the DC metro area, cherry blossoms are prolific.
And I can personally attest, “sweet blossoms spread joy and peace to all who walked under its showers or over its flowers.” 🙂

  4. This made me smile – “it was exhausting, being the origin of so much good.” Yes, she did get her steps in and will soon be doing that here too.
