A spring wind puffed and released tiny skydivers of cherry blossom every time she walked by. She couldn’t have helped it, even if she’d wanted to, which she really didn’t want to be able to do. Those sweet blossoms spread joy and peace to all who walked under its showers or over its flowers.
Better yet, the effervescent blessing of that spring shower passed automatically on to anyone within five miles of those so affected. She was grateful the season was short; it was exhausting, being the origin of so much good.
At least she got her Steps in!

*Carrot Ranch Prompt (04/15/2021): In 99 words (no more, no less), write a story that seeds generosity. Who is generous and why? Think of generosity as planting a future outcome. Go where the prompt leads!
*The challenge? Write a story in 6 sentences, no more & no less, and if you’d like, share your creation or just visit and comment on others’ ideas, with GirlieOnTheEdge, Denise. The prompt is “EFFERVESCENT”, and here’s where you join the party: Six Sentence Stories

A wonderful description: “tiny skydivers of cherry blossom.” I’ve called it pink snow when the wind releases the petals — one of the things I look forward to during spring 🙂

Love your Six, Liz!
The first 3 sentences are perfect, especially “A spring wind puffed and released tiny skydivers of cherry blossom”. I’ve no difficulty visualizing. Living in the DC metro area, cherry blossoms are prolific.
And I can personally attest, “sweet blossoms spread joy and peace to all who walked under its showers or over its flowers.” 🙂

This made me smile – “it was exhausting, being the origin of so much good.” Yes, she did get her steps in and will soon be doing that here too.

What a beautiful image, Liz. Now more than ever we need to take up her walk and put in the steps.

Mother Nature would approve, and send her healing showers, I think.

I don’t think I’ve ever been under a spring shower of cherry blossoms. I like your description of them as “skydivers”.
