The sirocco blew steady over the dunes, wavering in the sun and picking up speed and sand as it spun from the Sahara up toward the Mediterranean. He’d hoped for a break in the parched sameness, the grunting of the old camel, the lassitude under which he and the team struggled.

He shut his eyes and prayed for deliverance.

  1. Hah! Truth!
When my daughter was in high school, she got mad because she had to go to school really early for some kind of student council meeting. Later she told us “There was not one thing that couldn’t have been handled with an email!” My husband said “Welcome to the business world!”
    Terrific six!

  2. There has never been a productive business meeting in the history of industry that could not have been accomplished with an email.

Thank the Lord I am retired!
